Tuk Tuk on Tyne

Cassia Restaurant is situated in the heart of Newcastle's regenerated Quayside which is home to some outstanding new buildings confirming the area as one of the North's cultural centres. Owner Siad also wanted to combine the best of the old and new which is why his customers can now take a ride in his Tuk Tuk before tucking in to fine contemporary Indian cuisine. On a cold evening customers are greeted in the bar by a log fire, a nice touch even if it is just a dvd on the plasma!
