Progressive private hire company West Quay Cars bring a fleet of tukshop tuk tuks to the streets of Southampton as part of their #freefarefriday campaign.
Lucky customers have often been surprised to hear that their fare was free of charge whereas this time all the rides are free to anywhere in the city.
Mostly concentrating on picking up commuters from central station the brightly painted Bajaj Auto Rickshaws sporting West Quay Cars livery whisked travellers down to the Red Funnel Red Jet for the trip across the Solent.
Pictured here Neil Sackley from the BBC interviews mrsteve about the growth of tuk tuks across Europe since Tukshop was founded in 2003.
' Tuk Tuk are built to move the maximum number of people around whilst using the least amount of fuel with minimal impact to the road surface, it's great to see a Taxi company using them in this way '.....said mrsteve
